Step by step guide to renting with Cavendish Rentals
Finding the right property to rent, securing the right deal and then moving in can be a stressful time – Cavendish Rentals have a friendly and knowledgeable team of people who are here to smooth the way for you. We can help you to find exactly the right property in the right location, to suit your requirements and budget and we will hold your hand right the way through the various steps, making the experience as pleasant as possible
1. Finding the right property
Browse our current rentals, or better still, contact us and let us work on your behalf. We’ll alert you to any possible properties so that you are the first to view.
2. Getting References
Having selected a suitable property and had your rental offer accepted by the landlord, we will reference you using Let Alliance.
3. Tenancy Agreement
Rest assured that we have the legal side covered for both parties. This involves drawing up the Tenancy Agreement.
4. Deposit
Your deposit is secure with us – we are members of the Deposit Protection Service and all deposit monies are held securely by the DPS, who offer a free arbitration service should there be a problem at the end of the tenancy should it be required.
5. Check in progress
Our check in process is there to help you and the landlord. It will ensure that everything is as it should be and how it should be left when you leave. We also operate a Check Out process too on your departure to ensure swift repayment of your deposit.
6. Safety Checks
Throughout the course of your tenancy, we will carry out periodic visits to ensure that everything is going OK with your occupancy that the property is being maintained to the expected standard and that there are no problems that need urgent action.
7. Emergencies
Should you have an emergency (on a fully managed property), we operate a 24/7, 365 days a year service and will ensure that any issues are dealt with quickly.
